File Formats

We accept the following file types for photos:
     .jpg  .tiff  .eps  .psd

Photo Quality

Your photo file should be sent print ready as near to reproduction size as possible (at least a size of 5" x 7") with a resolution of at least 100 pixels per inch (ppi).

Uploading Photos

• Many items have built in support for uploading and editing images for that item [See image to the right]. The benefit to using this system is that when you preview your item, you will see the completed sign including your uploaded photo. This is the preferred method of sending photos.
• If the item photo upload option is not present in the item details page; you can go to our file upload system by clicking here.
• If you are unable to send your file by either of the above methods: Contact Customer Service at 800-545-5505.

We accept the following file types for artwork:
.ai  .eps  .jpg  .indd  .pdf  .tiff
  (Adobe Files should be saved as CS3 Files or before)

Vector Files
Definition of Vector:

Two Dimentional artwork that is made up of mathematical lines and curves. Vector files are resolution independent and can be enlarged infinitely without losing image quality.

When using Vector Artwork

• Please convert all fonts to outlines or curves
• Please submit your artwork to scale, indicating the scale ratio

Raster Files
Definition of Raster:

Any artwork what is composed digitally of horizontal and vertical rows of pixels to make up an image. Raster files are resolution dependent and cannot be enlarged without losing image quality.

When using Raster Artwork

• Please make sure that it is sent in with a high resolution
• The following list is a recommendation for resolution requirements
  • 1:1 Scale @ 75-100 ppi
  • 1/2 Scale @ 150-200 ppi
  • 1/4 Scale @ 250-300 ppi
